Air-Conditioning Fresh-Keeping Equipment Successfully Developed in Fengxian

It has always been a dream of vegetable and fruit producers to keep peaches, pears and grapes fresh for 3-6 months and green-leaf vegetables and flowers fresh for 30-40 days without any changes in their texture, nutrition, color, aroma and taste. Now, the air-conditioning fresh-keeping vehicles, warehouses and boxes developed by Shanghai Zhongbao Industry Co., Ltd. registered in Fengxian District make this dream come true.

It is learned that there are three requirements for vegetable and fruit fresh-keeping: low temperature, appropriate humidity, and the proper concentration of oxygen, carbon dioxide and ethene in the air. The air-conditioning fresh-keeping technology meets with the three requirements.

The Company is now holding a leading position in China in terms of air-conditioning fresh-keeping technology. Having obtained a patent in this technology, it has been approved for production by the State Commission of Development and Reform. Within the year, the Company will complete the construction of a 1,000-ton fresh-keeping warehouse and a batch of fresh-keeping vehicles.
